Surrounded by rugged rock formations,
Klein Cedarberg is in the 200 000 ha Swartruggens Conservancy at the very
south end of the Cedarberg.
Built mostly of stone and thatch the units have a rustic African feel. To
ensure privacy, all have separate entrances and their own outside sitting
places under shady thatch roofs.
We offer twin or double bedrooms with extra sitting areas around the
fireplaces. Meals are served in the 18th Century pioneer house which also
houses an art gallery and studio.
A 2½ hour scenic drive from Cape Town brings you to Klein Cedarberg with only 5 km on a
well-maintained gravel road.
The climate is cold in winter. Summer temperatures are very much like Cape
Town, but cooler because of the high altitude (1000m above sea level).
